Palmolive Body Washes (Philippine Market)

Palmolive Body Washes smell like and offer benefits similar to their soap counterparts, if they have one.

Palmolive body wash

From my least to most favorite scent:

White + Milk (blue) - promises to whiten with continued use. Two months of continued usage has not led to that. Same with White + Papaya. It has a soft powdery floral scent. Not milky at all.

Moisture Smooth (green) - has milk and olive extract. The scent of this is really weak that I don't smell it anymore outside the shower. It's a rather forgettable floral too which is why I didn't remember its soap counterpart when I reviewed the Delon Olive Shampoo. It certainly does not smell like Delon.

White + Papaya (orange) - has milk and papaya extract. When you flip the cap, the smell of oranges wafts out. But when you start lathering it, the scent morphs into a papaya-orange smoothie.

Calming Pleasure (pink) - has milk and cherry blossom extract. This deviates from the predominantly powdery rose smell of the soap. While bathing, it smells like slightly bitter cherries  more than cherry blossoms. Almost medicinal. The floral tone comes out after bathing. It's nowhere in the vicinity of Clear Shampoo, the one with Sakura scent. I prefer the scent of this body wash over that.

Nourishing Delight (yellow orange) - has milk and honey extract. No soap counterpart. Which is such a shame 'coz the scent is really yummy. Seems I lean towards bath products with honey. (Johnson's ph5.5 Nourishing Body Wash with Honey, Feather Nature Plus Soft and Smooth Shampoo) This started off caramelly before segueing into toasted coconut territory.

The scents do not last long and become skin scents after bathing so it's not gonna interfer should you put on perfume after. These five Palmolive Body Washes impart a slippery feeling upon rinsing. They are not as foamy nor as moisturizing  as I would want them to be.  I also feel sticky faster when I bathe with these. On the plus side, all of them are both soap-free and ph-balanced according to the label.

I got these Palmolive body washes either with a free Palmolive Shampoo or free with a Palmolive Shampoo purchase. I think there are now shower gel versions of these.
