Aficionado Bath and Body Spray: Fancy

Aficionado is better known nationwide as that company which offers inspired-by EDTs. But a closer look at their kiosks found in most malls across the country would tell you that they also carry original fragrances (EDTs, bath and body sprays and colognes) and celebrity scents from collabs with local artists from the entertainment industry. They even have room and linen sprays and personal care items like hand sanitizers.

Last Christmas I was gifted a bottle of Aficionado Fancy Bath and Body Spray. The Aficionado website describes Fancy as a sweet, floral, fruity scent with aloe vera, chamomile and sweet cucumber notes. It is inspired by Victoria's Secret, the specific fragrance of which was not identified. For me, its soft floral scent which stays with you for around four hours, is similar to that of Head and Shoulders Supreme Moisture Conditioner albeit milder. Yup, while the flagship products are inspired by popular perfumes,

When I was younger, I always carry around a bottle of alcohol (isopropyl not hard liquor) not only for hygienic purposes but for the refreshing feeling it imparts. Aficionado Bath and Body Sprays boast of a cooling effect. Not sure if it's caused by the other ingredients but when you twist off the nozzle, you can smell the alcohol.  This slight cooling effect does not last long. Might wanna think about that if you're getting this to relieve the (coming) summer heat.

Teens seem to be the target market for these bath and body sprays since they are at a fraction of the price of their inspired-by EDTs. (Not sure if these were around when I was a teen. Did not notice since the stronger, longer-lasting inspired-by EDTs were already what I prefer. Aficionado was still Affirmative then.) They are housed in plastic bottles which, unlike the inspired-by EDTs, are non-refillable. Bottle design has also changed several times over the years.

If the names are descriptive of how they smell, the website only details some, the variants seem to have covered most of the fragrance spectrum, from gourmand to citrus. Other Aficionado Bath and Body Spray variants include Delight, Dream, Active, Sporty, Adventurous, Icy Dive, White and Light, Fresh, Berry Kisses and Citrus Charm.

Edited 3/16/22: I take what I wrote back. I now know what VS fragrance this takes after. Aficionado Bath and Body Spray in Fancy is a dupe of Victoria's Secret Romantic Wish. Which would mean Head and Shoulders Supreme Moisture Conditioner smells like VS Romantic Wish. Crazy since Aficionado has an EDT, F35, which is inspired by Romantic Wish. This means Aficionado's Romantic Wish is close to the original. I found this out after I finally used my VS Romantic Wish fragrance. Yup, as a hoarder, there are a lot of beauty stuff and fragrances unopened in my room
