Avon Naturals Hand and Body Lotion: Silky Vanilla and Soy Milk Review

Snuggle in with the comforting fragrance of silky vanilla, brown sugar crystals and a delicate sheer woods background.

Avon Naturals Silky Vanilla and Soy Milk Hand and Body Lotion is a creamy, nutty vanilla, with the vanilla not at all bitter and not too sweet. It's like vanilla ice cream with nuts or a vanilla chiffon cake. But like a tub of vanilla ice cream while binge-watching a Netflix series, the yummy scent disappears quite quickly. Unusual for an Avon lotion given that it's a brand known for its scents. Take the Skin So Soft lotions, they have long lasting fragrances. Haven't tried so don't know about Avon Care lotions, though. Still, there are matching Avon Naturals Silky Vanilla and Soy Milk Shower Gel and Avon Naturals Vanilla Body Spray for scent layering, even an Avon Naturals Silky Vanilla and Soy Milk Hand Soap, should one want not just any other nutty vanilla fragrance.

The scent is almost like the lotion and hand cream of Body in Bloom Ice Cream Treats in Vanilla Sorbet, just creamier.

Like all Avon Naturals Hand and Body Lotions, the variant, Vanilla and Soy Milk are ingredients of this lotion, not necessarily the scent.

This creamy lotion, with 30-hour moisture, leaves skin looking healthy and feeling velvety smooth.

Runny Avon Naturals Silky Vanilla and Soy Milk Hand and Body Lotion is easily slurped by skin. Although there is an initial sticky sensation, there's no greasy feeling. Skin feels soft and smooth after absorption but this lotion won't cut it if one has really parched skin.

I'm not really a fan of lotion bottles which dispenses the product from a hole on a flat (or sometimes curved) surface as the lotion could messily adhere to said surface. This is one of those bottles. The bottle shape is rather fun and allows for a good grip though.

Unlike last year, most mornings this year are colder that once the ber months tumbled through, I've been snuggling into my comforter wishing for more minutes in bed. I would have liked to wake up to the scent of Avon Naturals Silky Vanilla and Soy Milk Lotion since I slather lotion before bedtime. Sayang.
