Body in Bloom products are available at Watson's and at the beauty section of SM department store.
The Body in Bloom gift sets are made up of shower gel, body scrub, body lotion, hand soap and hand cream.The containers are held in place in the box by adhesives, the mouths of the bottles sealed with foil. The tubs have foil over them but are not sealed. Ingredients as well as blurbs at the back of the box for an item in each set are identical except for the coloring agents and the scent.
Ingredients:
- Shower gel / hand soap: aqua, sodium laureth sulfate, sodium chloride, cocamidopropyl betaine, peg-150 distearate, glycol distearate (shower gel only), dmdm hydantoin, parfum, disodium edta
- Body scrub: aqua, polyethylene, sodium hydroxide, peg-40 hydrogenated castor oil, propylene glycol, peg-6 caprylic/capric glycerides, carbomer, dmdm hydantoin, parfum
- Body lotion / hand cream: aqua, cetearyl alcohol, paraffinum liquidum, glyceryl stearate, polyquaternium-22/c 3-16 isoparaffin/laureth-25, glyceryl stearate/peg-100 stearate, stearic acid, parfum, carbomer,imidazolidinyl urea, phenoxyethanol/chlorphenesin
Note that the body lotion and hand cream have similar ingredients. Same with the shower gel and hand soap except for the glycol distearate which is the pearl in the shower gel referred to in the box. Huh. So that's possible? They can do that? I mean sure, these products may have the same ingredients, after all a hand cream is not so different from a body lotion since a body lotion could substitute for a hand cream. I just wasn't expecting a brand having similar ingredients for two products, in one gift set at that. That's like pouring the same goop in different containers then sticking a different label on each.

- Shower gel: Body in Bloom shower gel with pearl is infused with (insert variant) that gently cleanses your skin leaving it totally refreshed and revitalized.
- Hand soap: Body in Bloom hand soap gently cleanses the hands leaving them feeling moisturized and giving the fresh scent of (insert variant).
- Body scrub: Body in Bloom body scrub contains beads that help scrub away dead skin cells, leaving your skin smooth and rejuvenated. Enjoy every scrub with the scent of (insert variant).
- Body lotion: Body in Bloom body lotion helps seal in moisture deep into the skin. Scented with (insert variant), it keeps your skin hydrated all day long.
- Hand lotion: Body in Bloom hand cream nourishes dry and rough hands leaving it soft and smooth.

The Body in Bloom Ice Cream Treats in Vanilla Sorbet got devoured first.
The set generally smells like gulaman drink. It is a cold beverage flavored with vanilla and brown sugar syrup. Cubes of gulaman (a gelatinous, sometimes almond flavored, sometimes not, and often tapioca (sago) pearls swim in the drink. No wonder our niece was into this set. The shower gel, body scrub and hand soap smell solely of gulaman while the hand cream and body lotion have a nutty element to them.
Body in Bloom Blueberry Cheesecake is a disappointment. The hand cream in my set smelled bad. The rest were okay. The blueberry scent that the hand cream and lotion have echo the same nutty notes of the hand cream and lotion of the Ice Cream Treats in Vanilla Sorbet set.
My fave set in terms of fragrance is the Body in Bloom Cupcake Treats in Sweet Strawberry. The whole lot smells like strawberry jam.
Experience:
The shower gels, because of their pearl content, are cloudy compared to the hand soaps which are transparent.They sud up nicely and there's no slippery film. The body scrubs, clear gels that they are, look like they have lots of tiny plastic beads in the container but you're going to wonder if they all reported for scrub duty later in the shower. They do not foam.
Both hand creams and body lotions have a gel cream consistency, similar to Cosmetofood Lotions. They're not greasy, not sticky, not heavy and easily absorbed by skin.
Unfortunately, the scent of each of the products in these sets are very subtle and do not last long. Something to also think about if scent is the main reason you're getting these sets. It was certainly ours.
